Growing up on the shores of Vieux Fort Saint Lucia ,I remember vividly I was a tall skinny, shy,and sedate lad no one wanted to play with me. I felt unacceptable My teachers said that I would never amount to much . When I flew the Union Jack over my home ,I was severely punished by the head-master of the RC Boys School I was buried alive and humiliated .I was the laughing stock in town. that was then .
